Wizkid surpass Davido as he set new record

After the Starboy boss teased his album ‘Made In Lagos’ to be released on his birthday, it turned out to be the other way round, but not that disappointing at all as the Joro crooner served the world a hot track titled ‘Smile’ ft H.E.R .

It’s no doubt the competition in the Naija music industry is intense as new talents are rising everyday. But if there’s ever been such contention between artistes, then it’s Wizkid and Davido, with Burnaboy coming by the sideline (my opinion).

Wizkid’s name is nothing new when it comes to sitting top of the charts. Just few days after the release of Smile, the song became the number one and most played song on the apple music /iTunes in Nigeria, overtaking Davido and Mayorkun’s Betty Butter, with OmahLay’s Bad Influence at third position.

The starboy Boss over the years, has made it big even on the international stage. His latest hit track made it to#40 iTunes US and #54 iTunes Worldwide, making it the highest leap (+32) for any Nigerian song on the US iTune, what a great feat.
